I'm a friendly mascot working for HouseLottery. It's a fun way to help the homeless and those on long waiting lists to get housed. Social housing needs to be built, and we're going to do it, with your help, of course!

In Southampton, there's a building called Canute's Palace. It's not a palace, it's a derelict 12th century building that was once a merchant's warehouse. It could be renovated through HouseLottery funding and allow homeless people shelter and comfort.
When fully renovated, the upper floors would be used as social housing. Homeless people could be employed to run a non-profit business on the ground floor, with local charity supervision.

On the ground floor, a coffee bar open to the public with historical artifacts on display of 12th century trade items, pictures, etc.
I'm calling for a change in the rules so that all UK charities, co-ops, and community groups can run their own lotteries to fund social housing, especially for people experiencing homelessness. Right now, charities are blocked from doing this. I want to change that.
